R&B Sensation LaWanda Lee, Makin Noise ..... Midwest Stand Up !

It wouldnt be right to have a blog for the Indie artist and not put one peice of my music on the site ! So while I'm compiling a list to feature and present to you , I present to you ME ! LaWanda Lee started singing at the age of 5 years old with her father Lee Osler from Ypsilanti Mi., .LaWanda's first time in the studio was at the age of 6 , she recorded a song called "One God, One World" with her father and several other children of different nationalities. LaWanda then went and got into the childrens chior at Messiahs Temple Apostolic, Church,in Ypsilanti , and from there is where she knew she could harmonize and sing leads and hold my own that was about the age of 8. LaWanda then moved to Inkster Michigan a small city about 15 minutes from Detroit, and met some friends at Inkster High School, and joined a group called "Modesty", & had a cd out under an independant record label called Ibdoina records entitled , C'mone .With Modesty , she went on a three city tour, and performed with arists such as , Toney Thompsom ,and A Few Good Men. They also opened up at the State Theater for comedians , Tony Little ,and Adelle Givens. They also open up for RBL posse at the Cosmos in Inkster Michigan . Unfortunately the group didn't last .LaWanda Lee now have the pleasure of working with producer /engineer /musician, Anthony Booker , from Detroit , Mich . We have officially finished my first Debut Album , entited "First Born"  .This Album contains collaborations with local artists, Jun Goddie , and Deon from the group "7 mile".
